I believe the clarification made it less clarified ... you need to know the outer dimensions of the of the rear of a Chamonix camera with the back removed ?

Correct. I have an "orphan" 20 x 24 back. Want to build adapter to fit chamonix. With film holder back off what are the measurements of the vacated space.
