I bought an 8x10 in October, not knowing that the camera back was only made to fit full wet plate "8.5 x 6.5in" holders because it came with 5-8x10 film holders. I've been trying to find an 8x10 film back with no luck. Any suggestion on how I can rig one or a place to resell it?

It helps if you can attach a photo of your camera so that we can see what brand/model it is.

It looks to be some kind of specialty camera. The front standard is bigger than the back! No easy way to fix/adapt an 8X10 back to this. My advice (free and worth every penny) put it on ebay, start it at $42 bucks and take whatever you get, and try again on a Kodak 2D. There's no way to put a bigger back on that camera. Chock it up to 'lessons learned'.
