Help needed Jobo 2523 in CPE 2

Hi folks,

Can anyone please tell me if a 2523 drum will work in a CPE2 processor for developing 5x4 sheet film. I'm confused as heck about all the code numbers and I'm none the wiser after searching for ages.

Some say the 2523 drum is the same as the 2521? I read about magnets and cogs but still confused.

The 2523 drum on offer has the option of a cog lid or a cap lid. Which should I go for?

The 2521/2523 will work in a CPE2. One number is for the cog lid, the other is for the cap lid.

Which one you should buy depends on your CPE2. If you have a lift, then you want the one with the cog. If you don't have one with a lift, i.e. it has a magnet there to turn the drum, then you want the one with the lid and magnet base.

In case the magnet is missing, the Jobo code number is 1504.

Pour out the chemistry and pour in water, just as you would with any other tank.
