Hey all, I just picked up this sweet little technika III V5 (I think that's the model #), but I'm certain the rangefinder is missing a piece or two. I've taken this apart as much as I can, but this little silver knob attaches to something but I don't have it. I tried to remove the piece altogether but the big screw is in there pretty tight. If anyone has info on this part or a good way to remove it, I'd appreciate it, thanks!\

So after doing some research, I've realized that I need to get a cam in there. My model is a III version 5, does it take the flat cams or can i use the ones with ridges in them?

Noah, the Tech IIIs take a different type of came than do the later models.
You need to find a cam specific to Tech IIIs.
IIRC, they attach differently to the camera than later-model cams.
