Negative holder dimensions for Epson 4870

Ramon asked me to post this here. He has the scanner without the holder. These are the dimensions for the 4x5 holder, sketched to scale. Also attached is a scan of the holder. I made one myself for 6.5x9 using cardboard from the back of a writing pad that works fine. I understand it is important to include the notch at the top, as that tells the scanner something (I don't know what).

Tim, Thank you very much. The notch at the top is for the CCD to get to make autoadjustment and calibration for both black and white (full brightness).
