Hi, I'm not a photographer by any stretch of the imagination but I have aquired some old photography gear.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what these items were please?

All I know is that they are made by Sinar.

"what these items were"? Are they no longer? Who killed them? Regardless, they are Sinar monorail view cameras, from the looks of it 4x5 film size (or 5x4 if in the UK).

It's a camera made by Sinar. Google "Sinar" and read the multitude of links.

Good luck.

They look like Sinar F2 4x5" cameras. They are not that old, actually. The F2 was introduced in 1986.

The more interesting question is, what do you do with them?

With that front standard, not the same as the back one, it's an F1? Doesn't the F2 have a focusing standard, not the slide-and-lock one with the vulnerable, breaking hook?

How did you come by this gear? What do you think you want to do with it?

They seem F1's, and to be mounted incorrectly (or purposely) with the ground glass on the front bearer and knobs to the left. So either the owner was left handed, or for some reason the weaker F1 front standard worked better for him as a ground glass bearer. Don't you think?
