Hi all

I recently made a recessed board for my 5x7 Linhof technika.
Here is a picture of the lens board with a Super Symmar 110XL.

I made it as thin as possible however I can not find an easy way to connect the shutter release cable to the lens.
Do you know any jig I could use to solve this problem?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

A Gepe Wide Angle Cable Release Adapter should solve your problem.

Thank you all for your quick replies!

The Kaiser "L" seems too long but I will have a try with the Gepe.
I have tried some very flexible cable release since my first post and they hardly fit, I might have the same problem with the Gepe extension however if I replace the lens little aluminum cable interface with a modified one (different angle) it mights work.

The Gepe extension has a much smaller tip than a cable release and consequently will fit in a much smaller space. I used one in a similar situation to yours, at Bob Salomon's suggestion, and it worked great.

+1 for the Gepe, I've got them on my recessed boards.

B&H and Badgergraphic charge $50 for the shipping to New Zealand. Wow!
I better have to find a fair retailer...
