Does anybody know? There no mention of this detail in the 1953 Ektar lens catalog on the cameraeccentric site, only that it's Series VI in front.

While I'm asking, can anyone tell me the rear cell diameter for a Supermatic-mount 127mm f/4.7 Ektar? I have a Synchro-Compur version that's 33mm and I'm curious if it's the same as its more common sibling.

Thanks!

Steve, all measurements subject to error.

My 105/3.7's rear cell measures 31.40 mm across the threads. OD is 33.00 mm. Filter threads are 30.25 mm. It is in a Flash Supermatic, size not marked.

My 127/4.7's rear cell measures 31.60 mm across the threads. It is in a Graphex (= Rapax), size not marked.

The 105 rear cell is a sloppy fit in the 127's Graphex, the 127 rear cell won't go into the 105's Supermatic.

Shutters made in Rochester (EKCo, Ilex, Wollensak) don't conform to the Compur/Copal standard.

Eyeballing it against a metal ruler, the rear of my 127/4.7 Ektar (S/N starting with EO) in Supermatic looks to be about 32mm OD.

Dan Fromm, could you tell the full length of your 105/3.7 on frames cuts?

Andrey, I'm sorry but I don't understand what "frames cuts" are. Please ask again.

Dan, I'm sorry for my google english!
I meant size from one end of the lens rim to another end - the full length of the lens in the shutter.

full length in the assembly
