Hi folks,

On Badgergraphic they have a Fotoman 617 6x17 which uses LF lenses. This might be an economical ($1600) and more flexible alternative to Fuji GX617 $3299 (I own one but I think it could be interesting to avoid buying another lens @ 2,500 bucks only for the GX and try to use my wonderful LF lenses (Rodenstock and Schneider) on something such as the Fotoman 617) There is even a Gilde sister called Fotoman 617 Pro (with front movement) that will be presented at the German Photokina end september.

2 questions remains :

a. the mechanical quality for such a precision tool b. are the lenses attached once and for all to the cones (adapters) or can they be used as normal non-fix lenses

I'm waiting for the answer from the Fotoman people.
