I just got the studio camera and "century" on the front tag. The lens board size is 9x9 and the bed is 28.5 inch long. The front is measured 13 3/4 X 18. I like to know what model this camera is. The 2nd question is what this camera misses for back and where I can find a used one or I have to make by myself (may use some modern 8x10 back?).

The 1st picture shows a back comes with the camera, but I believe it is not original one since it does not fit well. I take it off and measure back size. what kind back of this camera has and where I can find one or I have to build one (may use a modern 810 back?)?

It has a spring back, or I'm blind. It is missing a ground glass.

Try to figure out what size the back is. Use these measurements for a start, they may not be the whole answer.

It appears your back is not original based on the image I see but I believe with a little bit of wood work this back could be made a perfect fit.

There are quite a few websites with info on this line of cameras ... check out for example:

http://historiccamera.com/cgi-bin/librarium/pm.cgi?action=display&login=century

or visit this thread which has a good image of the back and sliding carriage ...

There are others and the web is full of images. The front has also a few modifications I believe when it comes to the brass strips around the lens board. I've seen this camera on the auction site and it came with a nice soft focus lens ;-)

thanks, for your input, I still did not find the match on the link of http://historiccamera.com/cgi-bin/li...&login=century. I put two more pictures and you can see how this camera control back tilt (side), swing (cor110157110158ner) and focus (center of back).
