I took some measurements from a Rodenstock 240mm Sironar S, I have.

I am trying to understand how much distance I will have in the frame of an 8x10 camera, Landscape.

The specs for the lens state an Angle of coverage of 75 degrees.

I took the camera out and took some measurements:

Lens to Subject = 9ft

Landscape width measured = 8ft 3in

to my Calculations this gives an Angle of Coverage of 50 degrees, not 75...

Is my missing connection, focused at infinity?

Hard to tell from the information given... are you confusing angle of view and angle of coverage?

I don't understand your question.

The published image circle for the 240/5.6 APO-Sironar-S is 372mm.

Is that your lens, or do you have a SINARON-S ?
This was a Sinar-branded Rodenstock Sironar-N lens. Its image circle is 340mm.

Both image circles are at infinity and f/22.

Image circle 372mm & 240mm FL = 75.55 degrees coverage, as claimed.
