View Full Version : Using a hardner for Gum Bichromate

I'm on the verge of trying some gum printing. I'm seeking opinions on using Chrome Alum as a hardner on sized paper. I would probably size the paper after every pass so is hardening necessary? Would you size and use hardner after every pass? I've read the books an every author has a different opinion. I also believe that some of the articles are written by people who have never actually made a gum print, but that's another argument for another day.
Thanks,
Pete.
