I have a Imacon film scanner problem, is some one out there Who can help me ?
The problem is that the scanner has a scuzzy connection but my Mack only has a firewire one
I have all the converters needed but i can still not see the scanner on the screen. Does someone know a trick to fix this ?

Are you using a Ratoc FR1SX SCSI-Firewire convertor? I believe it is the required convertor and the one I use with my Precision III scanner.

Or get a PC.

Or get a PCI SCSI card to fit your mac (assuming you don't have a laptop or something silly-small). They're like $10 now.

Are you saying that you have the RATOC connector and you still can't get it to work? There is a very specific order that you have to switch on the various components. First (with the RATOC turned off) turn on the scanner. Then turn on the RATOC. Then the computer, and of course the software.

Good luck.
