I have a peculiar problem and do not seem to find a solution.

I have Nanao T2-17TS monitor with a three setting Color Selection Feature that gives me the RGB numbers 85,86,85.

If I calibrate my monitor with PhotoCal Spider, the next startup the previous Color Selection setting replaces the PhotoCal settings even though PhotoCal is the profile shown as default in the Display Properties dialog box.

If I readjust the RGB numbers to the PhotoCal numbers I got during the last profiling then the color is correct, and what's more if I run the calibration process again I do not have to make any adjustments (to the PhotoCal RGB numbers) 93,79,78 the last time I did it.

Would any of you know what is the problem here and/or how to turn this annoying feature off.

Many thanks, AC

It sounds like the profile isn't being properly re-initiated when you reboot your system. The monitor itself probably returns to its default setting when it is turned off. I'd talk to the tech support people at PhotoCal, but also check to see if the calibrated settings can also be saved on the monitor via its separate configuration menu or controls.

Make sure you have installed the latest drivers, and if the problem persists, then contact their customer support. I have had excellent luick with them in the past.

Shame on me! I will ask customer support and see what they say. Thank you!
