I haven't found the process for attaching images that have the yellow bar at the top which allows one to enlarge it for easier viewing. How's that done? And is it possible to do that with images that are arranged "in line?" TIA.

Yellow bar? Can you point to an example?

Images that are uploaded to the LFPF server are included via the "Manage Attachments" feature in the "advanced" editor, and show as thumbnails at the bottom of the post. Clicking on the thumbnail opens a popup window with the full-size version.

The other common method is to host the image on an external server, and include a direct link to the image, which shows the full-size version directly in the post. The yellow bar to which you refer may be a feature of such an external host, allowing the display of a smaller version.

I think they have a yellow bar on the APUG forum, but we don't have that feature here.

Thanks, Ken. Now that I think about it, it WAS on APUG that I saw that feature and just assumed it was available here as well, since both forums (fora?) are vBulletin.

vBulletin is customizable and extendable. Because we operate for free, our selection of add-ons needs to be prudent and modest
