Has anyone read any good books that apply the concept of notan to photo history or the practice of photography?

Thanks! Jason

William Mortensen's works, especially The Command To Look, Pictorial Lighting and The Model.

I haven't read "The command to look" yet. Thanks for the suggestion.
I've read Pictorial Lighting and the Model and coverage of Notan is there, but I'm thinking I might learn better by having the benefit of multiple authors.

Aurthur Hammond's Pictorial Composition In Photography 1932 has a chapter on Notan.
The early proponent of Notan was Arthur Dow.
Composition: Understanding Line, Notan and Color should do the trick.
