Does enyone know about this lens? This lens has two sets of F stops on it one is for the 11.3 in lens and also has a 17 in on side and i think that is what the other F stope is for but when you change lens around it will not focus. ramblinp@xpressweb.com

The Cooke Series V is a process lens. I've never seen one with two f/stop scales. One scale should start at f/8 wide open. Where does the other scale start? And is there an indication of focal length for each scale?

This sounds like E**y 231079470407.
The explanation there is reasonable - but the second scale is for when you are using the rear 17" cell alone.

You need the interchangeable front element to get the 17 inch focus. I didn't know there were some barrels engraved for their use. Another interesting bit of trivia!

Yep it's mine Steven!

Thanks for the reminder Mark! I'm selling a few things off at the moment and couldn't remember all of the details (that's why it started at $29). I've updated the listing and 'borrowed' one of your attached images to give a better explanation. I never ended up using it and I only have so much room in my dehumidifying cabinet.
