LF Meet Westonbirt Arboretum UK

Now this forum's back up and running.

Just a little heads up for UK based LF users, I have a arranged a meet for LF users on the Talk Photography forum at the national arboretum at Westonbirt http://www.forestry.gov.uk/westonbirt Next Sunday 27th October

Once we know exactly who's turning up we'll make arrangements and times to meet up, probably at the cafe a couple of times in the morning.

I hope some of the LF users here can join us, everybody's welcome.

If the weathers OK I'll be happy to come. Do a bit of research about distancies, I have a 5x7 (7x5 in US terms) B&J that I would bring (not too heavy, but at my age it aint built for travelling far) and a Sinar Norma modular outfit that covers 4x5 (gotta say that, it's a US forum) and 8x10 (10 x 8 in Euroland). I also have a 4x5 Wista and a beautiful (in my opinion) 1926 Ansco, 4x5 / 5x7 (only rear tilt, no front tilt, probably a small town portrait camera. All my shorter lenses are on Wista / Lindorf boards (home made, so not perfect, they work for me) and the bigger ones are on Sinar boards. The Ansco will take B&J boards. I have a Sinar to Lindorf/Wista adaptor.

Yes you're missing something :) Pete's a friend and we meet up on odd occasions.

Ah, I thought so. You should fit in quite well, our film meets are usually odd occasions :)

Hi Folks,

Although I think we should be fairly easy to spot but just in case you get lost or can't find anyone if you'd like my mobile number email me and I'll email my number back.

I'm still planning to go down on Saturday so should be there early but I suggest we meet at the coffee shop at 10 on Sunday and then move on from there.
