Abelardo Morell talk & exhibit, Getty Museum LA

Abelardo Morell is giving a talk about his work at the Getty Museum in LA tonight Oct 3 at 7PM. This retrospective " The Universe Next Door" is up at their galleries until Jan 5, 2014. I haven't seen it yet, but I got the catalog, which so far is my favorite photography book published 2013. He currently uses MFD because of shorter exposure times, but did most of his work in 8x10.

The documentary titled "Shadow of the House" shows good part of his life and work. I think is available for purchase online.
Very interesting, IMHO.
