I'll be at Truth and Beauty Studio & Gallery, Oct. 12 to talk about large format and carbon transfer. I promise there won't be any "mumbo jumbo". Just me, my camera, and a few prints. Hope to see you there!

Have a great time. Looks like the mumbo jumbo will be provided by the other artist. ;)

Good luck with that. I wish I could be there. AS per the mumbo jumbo.........apparently any thoughts about your work (like motivation) beyond sterile technical aspects amounts to mumbo jumbo here for many. If that is your POV too, I would encourage you to look beyond that. There is sooo much more to photography than technique.

Good luck with your presentation!

I gave a carbon workshop in Vancouver a few years back...great place! Kirk has it right -- the 'Why' of a process is as, if not more, important than the 'What".

Andrew ... Congratulations ... good to see the Word of Carbon being spread out into the photo community ... it's a great process.

Kirk and Vaughn, in the few talks that I've participated in and attended, I have noticed two camps. The why camp and the what camp. I try to make both camps happy. I'm quite shy by nature and pretty quiet, so standing in front of a bunch of strangers is very difficult for me... even though I do it everyday in the classroom.

Thanks Jim! I love how my photographs look in carbon. I feel it was the missing piece of the puzzle. Does that sound corny?

Andrew, your work is stunning! Don't be shy (easy to say I know).
