We'll see whether it really is new, or just improved marketing and time tables brought up to date. Ultrafin Plus already was particularly suitable for T-grain film, and the development times between Plus and T-Plus only differ by a small margin, which might also be explained by their switching from their past recommendations of either 3s or 60s to a 30s agitation regime. Even in its past incarnation it always was a excellent developer, my only complaint was that it lost 1/2 to 2/3 stop if you processed to a (condenser or scan friendly) gamma of 0.55, so it was my favourite only whenever I was using a enlarger with colour head - if they fixed that, that would be good news indeed.

I am going to try it... i like the T-grain films better because i think they scan better. I am however still a devoted fan of TriX because of the grain visible when i scan. i know the this thread is about the new developer......to a photographer you you talk developer it is always connected to the film......it is the results that are important to me....

I see they've omitted the 'super fine grain' designation. I love that property of the Ultrafin Plus developer.
