fitting Pentac 2.9 to Lommen board for speed graphic

Can anyone who has done this please tell me the knack, I have wrapped the lens thread in teflon tape as Mr. Lommen suggests, but the Pentac will just not seem to find purchase with the lommen board threads,

is it gently/gently or is force required, or a particular starting point?

any hints much appreciated

ok, figured it out, lens mounting flange had to be removed revealing smaller thread, hey presto!

Yes, the AE threads are just slightly larger than the pentac threads (for pentacs with a removable flange).
