Weissman 9"x18" camera

I was surprised nobody has mentioned the auction of the Weissman 9"x18", on ebay at the moment, starting price US$6 000. No, it doesn't have any bids, and given the strictures on shipping, they've limited their market. It was interesting to see it so soon after the recent comments on the similar camera by Clifford Ross.

I saw that, too. Problem is, for his starting price, I could buy a Wisner or phillips 8x20, a lens and shutter married by SKg, and it wouldn't be as touchy or delicate.

And if I bought the stuff used, I'd have enough left over for a film holder or two, and some photowarehouse discount film.
