The technical execution (focus...lighting...) could have been better, but this is what I got. 4x5 ektar 100 in my living room and it smelled none too good. 36lbs of craw fish.101101

Since you asked, well, I don't hate it but I'm not excited either.
I had to think about it.
It I think it is an excellent shot for a culinary magazine with an article about Normandy shrimps, though.

This would be a nice series if you could pull it off with other compositions and items of interest. As a single image I like it , part of a larger series and I would really like it.

What a strange world we live in where hundreds of millions of people are starving and bio-diversity is decreasing day-by-day, yet someone feels this is a good reason to use "…36lbs of craw fish" for a photo.

You asked if I hate it. Yes, I do. What a waste of food and of life.

Shoot something that can't be eaten and/or doesn't have a central nervous system.

Isn't it supposed to be "fleur" ?

Kudos on the styling, were they still edible after the shoot ?

Yes, FLEUR.

A typo in the title that I couldn't figure out how to change. You got me. Argh..........

They stayed like that a day and a half, and while LIKELY edible, I didn't chance it.

David,

I like it.

Mud bugs have always been one of my favorites subjects, occasionally in front of my camera, but more often on my plate. You just made me hungry for Cajun in a town that lacks any Cajun restaurants with a wide ranging menu.

I like it too. Can you dye them purple and gold?

Not to me it doesnt, sorry. May just as well be built of roaches. Its impressive work to shape whole thing, but other than that - meh.

You need to learn to work faster so you can eat them when you are done. :-)
