Anybody out there using the Ebony 8x10's, specifically the SV series, how much movement (rise/fall and front tilt) can I expect without having to use the bag bellows? Thanks.

With what lens?

Sorry about the ambiguity. I meant to add with a 210mm lens.

Randy,

At 210mm, you should have all or nearly all the full range of movements. I'll put one on mine when I get home and verify for you.

Randy,

I picked up a bag bellows for my SV810 because the standard bellows only allowed about 1 cm of rise, fall, and shift with my primary short lens - a 150 SSXL (with this lens and the standard bellows I got about 5 degrees of tilt). At this focal length the bellows are more or less fully compacted at infinity. I can’t imagine getting any movements at all with a shorter lens. The bellows constraint lessens as the focal length gets longer. With a 210 you’ll be able to get most, but not all, of the camera’s maximum movements - but the bellows will be very tight. At 240 all movements are available, but again its somewhat tight, especially at max rise.
