That is more "sport" than "photography", but it was a very fun experience with 2 of my friends !

Fantastic.
Do you have a scan?

Terrific - looked like you guys had fun doing it

Sure, a scan. It needs to have it's own HDD because it's 2.5TB, but yes, I have a scan! :) Sorry, I couldn't help it. Nice video!

Nice! Loved the Provia shot!!
Hello, I haven't a serious scanner. Unfortunnatly I can only use an Epson 4870... If I succed to have one year a real good slide, I probably will have it scan by someone who have a drum scanner or something like that.
Maybe next year it will be the good one !

So sorry for the overexposed negative after all this work. Something like this you guys should develop the negative by inspection. Great work out after all though. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Thierry,
Enjoyed the video very much (also found one of the waterfall). Do you have a site with more of your work?
"Do you have a site with more of your work?"
No sorry I have not any, but would like to have one. Maybe in the futur...
"Something like this you guys should develop the negative by inspection"
I don't see how you could do that with E6 developpement ?...
Thierry M.L.
Very nice, thanks for this, Thierry. Beatiful results, I bet it is stunning in real life.
Where on earth did you find those huge E-6 tanks? I do my own 4x5 E-6 development, and am interested in ULF.
Thanks Thierry... For making me feel like I'm shooting micro four thirds with my 5x7...:-)

Just wondering:
HOW and WHERE did you get 11x14, 12x20 and 20x24 PROVIA????
I wasn't aware that Fuji made it larger than 8x10???
I'd like to know pricing too please, if you want, please send me a PM.
thx,
Dan
Daniel, badger did special orders of provia up until a couple years ago. Only 11x14 that I recall though. I've allways wondered why fuji won't do yearly special orders like the other surviving companies.

Contact Keith Canham from KB canham - http://www.canhamcameras.com/kodakfilm.html
You can get any film cut at any size (if you order enough and enough in advance). Not sure if Kodak still offers any reversal film - but portra and ektar are available for sure.

No reversal.
Huge minimum order. $$$/sheet
Fuji still makes reversal sheet stock.

Vinny,
Could you please elaborate on what you mean by "FUJI still makes reversal sheet stock"? Does that mean they sell large rolls that you cut yourself?

In fact Provia is only for 11x14 size but It would be WONDERFUL if Fuji could sell it in 20x24 size. Here in France We are already 2, my friend that you see on the video and myself who are ready for a special order... If only we could find enough people AND Fuji could help us...

Thierry,
is it fresh-dated stock(the 11x14)? Or expired/past date?
I was shooting 8x10 for a while, however I found the format a bit too square for me. 5x7 is wonderful, and I greatly enjoy that format. However, I've been looking at 11x14 as a b/w only medium, to make contact prints. But having a small stockpile of 11x14 color film would allow me to make those photographs that just HAVE to be in color. No question. No expense spared to shoot it in color.
depending on timing/finances, if you attempt to gain interest in 11x14 Provia, please alert me before you inquire/submit an order. I'd love to get a box(20?) or two, if possible. "just in case" ;)
thx,
Dan

What I meant was they still sell 4x5 sheets which has to be cut from a big roll just like ilford and kodak film. The problem is fuji has zero interest in "helping".
Just Before joining Thierry last week i have received mine from fotolaborservice (Germany)
you may contact Klaus http://www.fotolaborservice.de/ his email address is kds@fotolaborservice.de

Hi Thierry,
Have your ever heard of a dixon roller (http://dixonrollerpack.com/)?
Might help you with the 'sport' aspect ;-)
We also have the drum in stock in case any US based party is interested (though we ship worldwide):
http://www.catlabs.info/product/jobo-expert-drum-3063-for-prints-or-ulf-up-to-20-x24-50x60cm
"is it fresh-dated stock(the 11x14)?" no it is expired but in the deep-freeze, so it's not a problem.
Hello Alf it's fun to talk to you in english on this forum... I will do your platine print next week and send it to you with your sheet film.

Depending on how cheap you are - you can just make one (cheapest but requires some handiness) or buy one from Jobo (priciest) or get DevTech (discontinued, way cheaper than jobo , but possible to find - tank + wee water bath thingy + motor).
All of them would work.
