I'm having trouble scanning Agfa MC Paper. The scanner picks up the texture of the paper. Does anyone have a fix for this? Many thanks in advance!

That's why glossy paper is usually preferred for scanning. That said, a solution is to wet your paper, so that it forms an even layer of water between the scanner glass and the image. This is a bit risky - be sure not to flood the scanner - but I was told that it works very well.

I suppose that alternatively, the oil used for drum scanning would be as efficient and less risky, if you can access it. It's a kind of mineral oil that evaporates very fast, leaving no residue at all. Good luck.
