Well, this time it is a Fulmer Graflex copy camera. Not exactly sure what I'm going to do with this beast. It's a huge one. As copy cameras are not exactly worth much I just might modify it to be a bit shorter and more useful. Not sure yet. BTW, this isn't mine but one I found while doing some research on what exactly mine was. Not much out there though...

I like. I really like that stand. I have a copy camera fairly similar. I use it for portraits.

I have not seen one of these before. What is the door in the center section for?

I'm guessing is to get to the belows attachments, or hide the booze.

I read somewhere that this camera could be used for plate reproduction as well? Perhaps a plate is placed in the center section, lit from one end and photographed from the other? I need to get this thing home and really examine it further.

A glass top and you have a nice coffee table

That's what was going to happen to mine! Fortunately the owner overruled his girl fiend and sold it to me cheap. (spelling correct)

Works fine for portraits, how many movements does one need for a straight on head shot?

Mine has front rise, which is all I have needed.

Girl Fiend? (yipes!) If I came home with something like that I have a feeling my late wife would be haunting me. :(

For future reference .... the glass always goes in the back of the camera, never on top!:)
