I have spent today setting my darkroom up to be lit with infra-red as well as the standard LED lighting I have for my Mono Printing.

This will be used for both film loading/unloading, occasional film processing and colour printing.

I bought 4x IR 940nm 48 LED lights, a 12v 5A (60W) power supply and a pair of Secondhand True IR Darkroom Goggles, these are commercial goggle with a True IR response and dual IR converters with front and rear focusable lenses.

They are great, when wearing the goggles it is like daylight in there but without it is totally black. The IR is not visible to any normal Mono Films and I even tested it with sheets of Rollei IR, Maco IR820C and Efke 820 for 30 minutes each with a penny washer on them and not even a slight shadow above base + fog.

The only downside is that I have to adjust the goggles focus each time I am looking at a different distance but this is not a real handicap, just takes a little getting used to.

Interesting that the IR goggles had no effect that you could see on Efke, which I use a lot. Where did you find them?

They can be bought new from Emo Elektronik

4 of these supplied the lighting:

Could you supply sources?

Google did not show up those goggles.

The lights seem common.
