Did I see correctly that they want $570 shipped for one holder?

Anybody else know of another place to buy one? I would be very grateful.

These guys have similar prices: http://www.filmholders.com/index.html

But they're not that hard to make; esp. if you can live with "custom" registration distances, you can use a few off-the-shelf wood profiles, or get a cabinet maker to run a custom frame profile for you. Just copy the light trap design off ordinary holders. Once you start making a few, you'd save lots. Make sure you're working off a flat surface and know how to make a right angle jig; the rest is quite easy...you could of course invest in a mini-router, too.
If you want to try REAL low budget, have a look at this for inspiration.....: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:81892

I wonder if we'll soon be printing hard-to-find sizes of film-holders with 3D printers...

And Flanges, lens caps, etc etc. Why maybe we could actually start printing photographers!
