Help me sort out how the compendium on a C1 "Green Monster" is mounted. I have what I believe is the right lens shade (Compendium).

Attached pict show the mounting bracket I have. It would appear I need an additional piece of hardware, basically an angle bracket where the compendium bracket slides on.

The front standard has a tiny threaded hole on top centre. OF course without the screw.

Any ideas?

Here are some close-ups of the compendium hardware for my C-1:

You also might want to check this thread (where I first posted the above photos) that includes a discussion about DIY options for mounting the C-1 compendium:

Ok, clearly I have the front standard mounting adapter for another camera. The shade seem to be the same.

I am thinking I could make a sheet metal "s" bracket that will mount my adapter to the c1 in the correct position.

Pain in the butt!!

Enclosed my shaky IPhone picts of my adapter.

Thanks for the info..... I guess I am not alone...
