Was watching a Gnass lens case on the auction site, ended this morning. Amazing how these have matured price-wise in the past few years!

You didn't miss anything, the Photobackpacker stuff is better quality, less expensive, and lighter, plus the owner is really nice and responsive and reliable.

Although... Tupperware and ZipLock bags are credible options too.

Also look into fly fishing gear. I have converted quite a few cases to work with camera gear.

Oh believe me, Bruce/Photobackpacker is great! I have a few of the film holder sleeves, and they're top notch quality-wise. Absolutely no complaints.

And yes, I also repurpose tupperware and Ziploc bags as well ;)

Frankly I was just FLOORED by the sale price in this instance

I too like the photobackpacker boxes that houses my gear. Have boxes for the lenses and one to corral the smallish bits of gear. Still need a case for the camera itself though. All fits into a Pelican case for flying and will just transfer into a soft bag for walking around.

Being a Land Surveyor I use these.
