View Full Version : Mixing Ektar 100 & Fuji 160ns
Is it okay to put Ektar 100 and Fuji 160ns in the same box when sending out for developing?
It is the same process and chemicals for all negative films, isn`t it?

Yes. Although it would be a good idea to tell the lab there are two kinds of film in the box, so they don't freak out noticing two different film notch codes in the dark. I have put notes on my E-6 boxes telling them it's Ektachrome and Fujichrome inside.

I got a spanking when I included a B&W sheet in with a E6 batch. I was shooting free open box 4x5 and did not know. My guy was very upset.
He claimed it could ruin his entire tank. I was not about to dispute that and now only give him sealed film.
