Hi there,

I have buyed a second hand Broncolor FCM2 exposure meter with a Sinar probe included. There was a manual included with it but the weird thing is that the pages concerning the use of the probe are missing.

I use the meter a lot, but I have problems reading the measurements with the probe.

Does anybody have the FCM2 manual with the pages about the probe?

Kind regards, JG

Hi ISO 100

I have it somewhere but in german but can't find it at the moment! But it is like this. It shows you the difference of the exact lighting for example if it says -1 then you need a f stop mor flashlight or you have to open the f stop by one if it says + 2 then you have to stop it 2 f stops down or using a slower film or wathever! If it says 0 then you are eactly on it! I use it almost together with a gray card then it is extremly acurate! Good light!

Thanx for the quick reply,

But I have one more question. What is the exact range of this probe measurement?

After some experimenting sometimes the meter ranges between -3 until +9 until it gives under- overexposure. Another time the range seem to be decreased to 0 until +9 until it gives under- or overexposure!

What could be the reason for this?

Kind regards,

JG
