Hello All.

Although photography is a relatively recent hobby for me I knew the moment I saw The Tetons and the Snake River by Ansel Adams that large format was where the action was at.

I've spent the last few years working my way up the formats, learning to develop, scan and print my images. At the beginning of the year I felt it was time to purchase a 4x5 field camera.

I've been a reader of these forums for a while now and have found them to be my goto resource for for any questions I've had. In fact the information here is so good I've never actually needed to ask a question!

Now I feel it's time to get involved with a community of like minded people. So thank you all for the help you've unknowingly given and hello to all.

Ant

Welcome to the forum. I basically took the same approach as you, moving up the formats. Five years after buying my first 4x5, I use them exclusively; the only two cameras I own now are a 4x5 and an 8x10.

Best of luck to you in your LF adventures.
