filter size for 305mm repro claron f9

searched high and low with no luck,:confused: was wondering if anyone could tell me the filter size for this lens, bought one but don't have it yet, hoping I have the step up ring that will fit it. thanks for any info.

I don't know about the Repro Claron, my G-Claron is 67mm.

thanks peter for the reply, I read in a couple of threads that the g claron was 67, the repro in the picture doesn't look that big, but I guess its hard to tell from a picture, that would be great if it were 67, I have a step up ring for that. it can also be 52, 55, or 58 hehe

It is 40.5mm

For SN: 11257226 Schneider Repro-Claron 305mm f9 it is 46mm... it would appear that there were different sizes. I pulled this one out of the box, measured and then checked it with a 46mm filter to be sure. Don't know if that helps you or not.

Mine is S/N# 11507xxx on it is mounted on a Copal #1.

The 305mm Repro-Claron I have is mounted in barrel and is different (46mm O.D. for mounting threads) and I never found a shutter it would fit.http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=92735&d=1365260343&thumb=1&stc=1
