Hi,
I am new to this forum, and i am a lens enthusiast (addict).
Normally i find post war lenses. (40/50/60/70/80). but once in a while u find really old glass.
And i want to know as much that i can about the lenses i own.
That is why i joined this forum.
I have two lenses i can not wrap my head around.
(second one ill make a new post so there is no confusion).
first up.
Rectilineaire Extra Rapide J.D.E f=28cm
my toughs:
Its french ( rapid->rapide)
I did some research and the only french makers that i can come up whit is Jamin-Darlot (J.D.E (no idea what the E stands for).
the black paint used looks allot like other Jamin-Darlot.
But somehow i feel i am very far from the trough
extra info:
no serial
There is an A written on the side of the back element.

Any input and thoughts are very much appreciated.
Ty
