You mean a monorail? Most don't fold - see Linhof Kardan 45re - for example

long time ago, Ansco-Agfa or Rembrant made these flatbed camera for studio 's portrait
I have a non folding pre-Anniversary WA Speed Graphic, it was adapted from new, part of the top is cut away, there's no door instead the front tracking for the focussing rail goes back into the body and the rangefinder is set for a lens around 75-80mm.

A few years ago I saw a similar factory dapted MPP MicroTechnical (on ebay) which was custom made for an architectural photographer, again the front of the top casing was cut away to allow rise with a wide angle lens, I think a 75mm SA.

The Canham does fold.
The Walker Titan XL is a currently-made, non-folding camera. I've never used one but it looks kind of perfect for urban/architectural work with wide to medium lenses. http://walkercameras.com/XL_4x5.html
There's also the Bulldog Camera from Custom Bellows (http://www.bulldogcameras.com)

And the magnesium-alloy and steel Printex. It has no perspective controls.
I have several, two with rangefinders. Very good for infra-red work.

Ah the famous armadillodorff.
Is the depth of the camera determined by the weight of the car running it over? IE:heavy car/truck= wide angle, Smart car/Fiat=long focus
