first of all I should say thank you for this great web page. because there are no many around. my questions are.

which durst enlarger capable of printing medium format negative?

And I would like also to know the resonable cost of accessories spare part availability and future support for the equipments? Because many of the enlargers maufacturer will run out of bussines in future.

and what kind advantages would I have if I get a colour head enlarger or enlargers with drawers and filter? thanks hope hearing from you soon.

Not knowing what part of the world you are in, availability is hard to speak to. Durst is a good name in enlargers but there are others…

When you buy, try to buy all the parts you might need at once. Buy a complete enlarger set up. Have the person selling demonstrate how all the parts work.

I did own a Durst M601 (maximum negative is 2.25" x 2.25") with a glass negative carrier and a tray for filters. I printed very nice images in both color and black and white with that simple enlarger for over twenty years and sold it ($200 complete set up) to a friend who is still using it and who is quite happy with it too.
