I did do some research before posting this so don't yell at me.

But, how does one change adjust aperture when using a lens on a Sinar Shutter???

If the lens is mounted "in barrel", you adjust the aperture on the lens itself. The Sinar Shutter will not control the lens, only the shutter speed of the shutter.

If the lens is mounted in a Sinar DB board, you adjust the aperture on the Sinar Shutter. The Sinar shutter will control the lens and the shutter. Lenses mounted in Sinar DB mount have no controls of their own: it's all handled by the Sinar Shutter.

For the record, you can also use shutter-mounted lenses. Either you leave the Sinar Shutter open and use the lens' shutter, or you leave the lens' shutter open and use the Sinar Shutter. This way you can leave the Sinar Shutter on the camera at all times and use all 3 types of lenses.
