On that big auction site, allegedly a Leitz-Linhof 'studio camera'.

Or is it really a copy camera without the reflex housing and a Linhof back added?

Studio Camera. Most copy cameras are huge shooting ULF negs for lithography.

That is a microscope attachment camera - Linhof provided the Leitz microscope division with medium and large format recording cameras at least into the eighties.

Nah, it is part of a Leitz Aristophot with a Linhof reflex viewer attached. Not a general purpose camera, used for photomacrography and copy work.

Right you are - I did not see the second line of images with the Symmar. That is a Aristophot. The same components and stand, with a field lens and adapter tube instead of that Symmar, also went on top of some Leitz microscopes.

Yes this is an Aristophot macro setup based on and adapted from the full vertical setup sold by Leitz for macro photography with 4X5 camera by Linhof. Note the rail; it's solid steel as in an optical bench and weighs a figurative ton. I have one of the complete upright versions with stand that I use frequently for various forms of macro work; really an indispensable piece of gear for me. Mine is pictured below.
