Springs for a 5x8 spring back

Please I would be grateful if anybody could advise me as where I might be able to get some springs for a 5x8 Gandolfi type back. Pretty sure it is actually a Gandolfi back. From peg to peg on the ground glass frame the length of spring needed is 9 1/2 inches.

Alternatively any advice as to how to make some springs would be much appreciated. I have the back the ground glass frame and two holders. I just need some springs and a ground glass and I am good to go.

I intend to use the back to make a reducing back for my Thornton Pickard whole plate camera.
