ISO 100 B&W film preferences

I have worked out my favorite 400 spped B&W film but thought I would see if there was a consensus on favorite 100 speed B&W film.
Acros 100, FP4, Delta 100, Tmax 100? Of course I have tried looking at photos using each but on line photos seldom tell much.
I am interested in the finest grain and smooth even tones

I'm on my last box of TMax 100, I picked up Delta 100 as a replacement and I like it much better.

Arista 100 is by far the best 4x5 budget film out there and at $35 for 50 sheets, you can't go wrong. It's a traditional emulsion so its not super sharp, but can be in the right developer.

Acros, by far. Great tonality and you can't block the highlights if you try.

No reciprocity correction up to 120 seconds, and only ½ stop from there to 1000 seconds.

I am favoring Acros 100 right now. I have never heard any issues with the film. I loved the Neopan 400 while it was available. I am interested in more opinions...

Neopan 400 and Acros are two totally different films.

Ilford FP-4+ developed in Pyrocat HD gives me the finest grain and the smoothest tonality.

It's a traditional grain film. I'm not a fan of fabricated grain films.

I have shot a bit of FP4 and really have no negatives with it. I really haven't shot much 100 in 4x5 at all but would like to give it another go for portraits and table top work.

Try developing FP-4+ in Pyrocat-HD.

It's a match made in heaven.

I like FP4+ in Pyrocat HD. I also like Acros 100, but it's a totally different film from the others. I've never cared much for TMax 100, but I am very fond of Tmax 400 (which I think is a nice complement to FP4).

How have you been processing your Delta100? I'm using it too, but find uneven results with T-MaxRS developer. Can you tell me what you use? Thanks!

Acros is one of my favorite all time films, I just wish it were readily available in 5x7. I've been shooting hp5 for the past few months but going to make the switch to fp4. Looking forward to the tonal change.

I have tried many over the years...In my opinion, fp4 (asa 80-100) with PMK is a reference standard by which all others can be compared.

For the last 7-8 years I used Efke almost exclusively but prior to that I used Tmax-100 and considered it a great film. It is very forgiving with exposure but horribly fussy about development and it took me a lot of work to get a developer/film/time combination that would give me smooth tones. The 100 speed from Efke was very nice and I understand that Adox has a new 100 speed film available in 35mm and are working on a new film that should be close to the Efke-100. I'm looking forward to giving that a try.

FP4+ For me, in Pyrocat HD. I like how it looks and how it behaves in processing (It's forgiving of my many small errors.)
