Hello

This is a message for francophiles users . In fact project described below is open to all users but mainly francophiles people, just because it's in french language

Friendly

Bonjour,

Cordialement

Victor

Francophiles are people who have an affinity for France and things french - but are not necessarily french speaker/readers.

I think it has the same meaning in French.

Steven, the word he wants is francophone.

Indeed it is - but I believe it has a problematic association (PC) with French speakers from Africa.

Not in the US.

Beside, those types don't speak French. Centuries ago one of my old girlfriends spent ~ 2 years with the Peace Corps in Niger (not Nigeria). She came home via Paris, griped to me that the Parisians mocked her for speaking 'tit neg. They can say things like that, we can't. Ils sont fous, ces americains.

You should try conversation with a Parisian with a backwoods Quebec accent.

"Francophiles are people who have an affinity for France and things french - but are not necessarily french speaker/readers.

I am very disappointed I made a mistake. The good title would be "projet francophone". To be french and to do a so stupid mistake. :-)

This project is open to all people auround the world but writing in french.

Each person can participate. just necessary to send a mail;
To have mail's adress and file's sizes see here : aufilmdesmots.wordpress.com/about/

would be "projet francophone"

Better would be : francographe or francophote, since, to the best of my knowledge, no on-line spoken exchanges, no sound whatsoever will be exchanged through this blog ... except if voice recordings can be posted as well
