It doesn't look like a bad camera. The design is pretty proven, it's essentially the same as a philips or a chamonix. The question, I suppose, is the build quality.

Compared to most any other NEW 8x10, the price doesn't look bad at all. The Chamonix is $3050 plus $115 shipping to the US. The least expensive Shen-hao is $2200 from Badger.
Granted you can certainly find a workable used 8x10 for less, but new? Looks like a pretty good deal if it's well made.
