Hi, brief question about filter options for the above lens.
I want to use tungsten balanced film with the camera, I have a full daylight gel for my flash head but no option for shooting with ambient light, and glass 105mm filters seem to be exorbitant in price and rare, is there a square option for resin filters that won't break the bank, specifically I need an 85B or C option, I used to use the Cokin P system back in the day, but don't think theirs are big enough

thanks in advance

If you're in a pinch, use a gel for lights. If it's a new gel it'll be fine. I know that GAM gels are optically clear. BTW, an 85C is half the correction of an 85B. I really don't understand your statement about a daylight gel on your strobe. If I'm not mistaken, all strobes are more or less daylight balanced. Use a Full CTS (color temperature straw) on your strobe to balance for tungsten.

sorry, meant full CTO on the flash head as used for filmmaking, thanks for your reply

Cokin X-Pro series filters will easily do it.

I use them with a 112mm thread.

Thanks for the info, wasn't aware of that filter range, much appreciated
