Must be the first Kidd (DD-661)?

Looks like it would be fun to work around. She has quite the history of valor.

I’ve always thought we should devote individual image threads to the Great Rivers.

Ol’ Man River, of course.

But also the Missouri, Ohio, Columbia, Colorado...

What camera did you use?

I love this film, my favorite 400ASA film on my MF 120, not sure if this will be the same with LF too.

Really great shot! I love the propeller sank deep into the mud.

Ebony 45SU with the bag bellows. Take Bruce Barham's advice and give the shadows an extra stop of exposure and you will love it in lf as well.

Beautiful the contrast/tonality is just right.
On another note I would love to try an Ebony 45Su once. Or maybe better not....I would not have the $$$ anyway.

The Ebony is really nice for a compact camera. But a $300 Sinar F2 is a better camera for shooting.

What is better with Sinar F2?

I second that suggestion. This thread has pushed me to book a cruise on the American Queen as a retirement gift for my wife and I.

Jac - it is prettier at your end.:-) At this end, it is all behind levees. It gets pretty again north of here.

"Professional" - With the FA, the bellows never gets in the way and blocks the ground glass, there are greater movements and they are easier to use, you can use wide angle lenses without the bellows getting in the way, and you do not have to rotate the bellows 180 degrees to use front fall or back rise.
