Wouldn't it be cool to take your LF camera to....
... Attu island, over 1000 miles from the Alaskan mainland.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attu_Island Remote locations, especially islands, hold a particular fascination for me. I think this place is practically impossible to get to now (unless you're in the Navy or coastguard) though in earlier decades bird watching trips made the voyage out to Attu and other remote Aleutian islands. I'd love to turn my lenses on the strange volcanic landscapes at the end of the Aleutians. Anyone here shot LF in the Aleutians? If you could take your LF anywhere on the globe, where would you go? |
