Lamp Upgrade for Durst 138S
I have been considering the lamp upgrade that Jensen Optical/Durst Pro had offered at one time. Has anyone here converted their enlarger to this new 1200 watt lamp? If so what are your experiences? Beyond that is there another way to convert this enlarger to a point light source enlarger? Will my current 138S condensors work with a point light source? What is the current URL for Durst Pro/Jensen Optical? Thanks for your help.

Lamp Upgrade for Durst 138S
I don't think the Jensen light source is only point source. From their marketing literature, it sounds like they put a diffuser globe in the light path to simulate the original lamp bulb shape.
The 138 with the point source option used coated condensers, the 'normal' condensers are not coated. joe |
