    Thanks ericantonio, Austin and Bipin

Austin, thanks for your thoughtful comments. All good luck, especially the timing !

I appreciate that you always "go deep" when looking at images.
You certainly identified a different dimension of interest.

I usually take two exposures - in my second, the phone call was over and not a single soul in sight.
I know just enough to be dangerous !

Some industrial decay. The old mill (once a tire factory I'm told) now largely demolished in Milltown New Jersey.

Terry276: Was the lean of the water tank and chimney intentional, or was the camera back not vertical? Normally I wouldn't comment, but in your image, since they and the telephone pole tilting in the opposite direction are the dominant verticals, they immediately caught my eye.

    Peter,
The telephone pole was tilted, which I liked, so I futzed with the back to see if I could tilt the smokestack for a convergence effect. It came out a bit stronger than I expected, but when I scanned it I liked it well enough.
